What will you do?
- Support Product Quality Engineer on developing, implementing and coordinating quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, reporting and problem solving
- Support Product Quality Engineer on CAPA investigations for customer complaints, recurring NCR’s, audit non-conformances, and other investigations using problem solving standard work to identify root cause and implement effective corrective actions
- Support Product Quality Engineer on product return and drive failure for investigation
- Support Product Quality Engineer on daily manufacturing line issue
- Work with multi-functional teams to ensure successful and high-quality product release
- Support Product Quality Engineer on customer audits with respect to customer complaints and other areas of expertise as requested
- Support Product Quality Engineer to drive for Industrial 4.0 improvements.
- Support plant-wide activities and special projects
How will you get here?
Education
- Currently pursuing a degree in Science or Engineering related fields
Experience
- Not required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Knowledge of MS applications like Words, Excel, Power Point
- Knowledge in MS Excel Macro Programming and MS Power BI is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Industrial 4.0 and automation
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills
- Exceptional problem solving, failure analysis and analytical thinking skills
- Use proactive and persistent approach and demonstrates a sense of urgency
- Ability to handle multi tasks simultaneously and efficiently
- True self-starter with the ability to work towards goals with little day-to-day supervision
Learning outcome
- Interns will learn about Quality Engineering concepts and tools such as quality management systems, product release, process control, design control, applied statistics, SPC.
- Enhance intern’s engineering expertise and effectiveness as a Quality Engineer with hands on work applying key quality engineering concepts and tools critical to success in the field of Quality Engineering.
- Broaden intern’s knowledge in understanding the usage of industrial leading quality management software (SAP, JDE, Trackwise, SFDC, Oracle PLM and GAGEtrak).
